Prefabricated Complete Transformer Substations in Concrete Enclosure (BKTP) are designed to provide electric power for administrative, residential, industrial and agricultural buildings. They receive electric power of MV, transformed it to LV and distribute it to the consumers. These substations are designed for continuous open air operation. The substations are power supplied by ring networks MV.

Degree of protection IP33.

The enclosure is a concrete panel construction with two modules. Substations have three functional sections:

section Middle Voltage with input, output and transformer protection cells
section Low Voltage
section transformer

Terms of operation:

environment temperature - from -40C to +45C
specific humidity - 100% (rain)
absence of electricity conductive gases, steams and dusts
explosion and fire safe environment

The equipment, low and middle voltage, is ABB, Alstom, Siemens, VEI, Schneider, GE Power Controls, or Bulgarian production. The necessary electrical and mechanical block systems are provided to ensure the unit proper working.
The construction is durable and strong. Prefabricated Complete Transformer Substations in Concrete Enclosure have long operation term, small volume and short installation time. They ensure safe and stable work in various atmospheric conditions. Substations have excellent appearance and are well consistent with the environment.

Prefabricated Transformer Substations can be applied as ready-made standard products. Various modifications have been designed - with one or more transformers, terminal or transition type, with cable or air input and outputs. Electric power consumption may be metered in LV or MV sections.

Prefabricated Transformer Substations are delivered completely equipped to the site and are mounted on a prepared in advance foundation.
Substations meet the requirements of Bulgarian standards BDS10699-80, BDS 1555-74, IEC611330, firm specification FS 01-2000, approved by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, and other Bulgarian technical regulations. They cover the Fire Safety Instructions for Construction and is approved by the National Fire Safety Office. Substations have Industrial Sample Certificate from the Bulgarian Patent Office.
