Distribution Substations are designed for open air continuous operation. Their purpose is to receive and distribute electrical power in cable networks MV up to 36kV.

Substations are built of modules, which allows various single line diagrams realization. They are provided by air insulated modular metal cabinets with assembly busbar system and fixed or removable commutation devices with elegas(SF6) or vacuum insulation. They include:

  • power disconnectors
  • disconnectors
  • circuit-breakers
  • metering panels

Distribution Substations may be developed with additional functions in the future.

The modules are Alstom, VEI, Schneider, ABB, ect. production and cover the IEC 298, IEC 694, IEC 265 requirements.

 

The enclosure of Distribution Substations MV may be designed fof one- or two-side maintenance according the completion. Substations may be completed with modules for middle to low voltage transforming for own purposes.

Distribution Substations MV may be completed with units for remote control of the devices by radiomodem, GSM or by dispatcher station with fixed line. Monitoring and visualization of the network parameters and the system status is also possible.

Terms of operation:

  • environment temperature - from -40C to +45C
  • specific humidity - 100% (rain)
  • absence of electricity conductive gases, steams and dusts
  • explosion and fire safe environment
